When can we trust each other? How does lying affect society? Why do people lie when they don’t need to?

“Are you kidding me?”
“Says, who?”
“How do you know that?”

These are all questions we ask to test the truth in someone’s words. We want to know if they are lying or if we can rely on what they say.

As it turns out, EVERYONE lies! But not all of the time.

This is part two of a two-part program on why people lie.

We explore how to know when people lie and what to do about it.

There are lies we agree to and lies we are deceived by, there are even lies we bring upon ourselves. Lying has a personal and societal cost and being more conscientious is critical.
