In our government, we have what is referred to as the separation of powers: executive, legislative, and judicial. The highest judicial court is the Supreme Court.
This court hears mostly cases on appeal from lower courts and is currently hearing several cases that will affect our lives whether we agree or not.
In the next couple of weeks, we will hear how the Supreme Court has decided these and other issues. From the Chevron deference situation to the Supreme Court ruling that former President Donald Trump stays on the Colorado ballot, how the Court rules often directly impacts our lives.
