International as well as domestic terrorism has increased. 9/11 has changed how we perceive terrorism and the actions we take to combat it. Since 9/11, thanks to ISIS, Al Qaeda and the Islamic State we also tend to vilify certain groups and not look at the broader perspective.
Today we are also forced to combat random acts of terrorism by supremacists and individuals lashing out at society.
Farah Pandith

Joining hosts Dennis McCuistion and Jim Falk to talk about terrorism today, what has changed, how the internet and social media aggravate the issues, and how we are combatting extremism here and abroad, are:

  • Buck Revell, former Associate Deputy Director, Special Agent/ Senior Executive, Federal Bureau of Investigation,
  • Rick Halperin, PhD, Southern Methodist University, Director of the Embry Human Rights program, and
  • Farah Pandith, Adjunct Senior Fellow, Council on Foreign Relations, and author of How We Win.
Join us to find out what fuels the motivation toward committing acts of terrorism and violence and potential solutions to stop them.
