Ageism bias seems to be growing as the latest bias capturing attention in our world today.

How does ageism manifest in our society, and what impact does it have on individuals and communities?

To answer these questions, Host Vince Poscente is joined by:

Ashton Applewhite, an activist who amplifies the message regarding the damage that ageism is doing in our world today. She is an author of This Chair Rocks, A Manifesto Against Ageism and was also a presenter at Ted 2017.

Louise Aronson, M.D., a leading geriatrician, writer, educator, and professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. She is the author of the New York Times bestseller and Pulitzer Prize finalist Elderhood.

Michelle Hough, an acclaimed HR professional. She brings a fresh perspective on recruitment, development, and retention of top talent, no matter what their age.

Julie Ober Allen, an assistant professor at the University Of Oklahoma. Her research seeks to better understand and address the complex issues surrounding stress and coping processes that contribute to disparities in chronic disease among older U.S. adults.

What is ageism? How prevalent is it?

What problems does it cause at work, in the community, and from a health perspective?

Is it more prevalent today as boomers stay in the workforce?

How does it impact our older generation?

Join us to learn more about ageism and how it impacts our everyday lives.
