Elizabeth M. Wheaton, PhD is an economist, senior lecturer and Cockrell-McKintosh Faculty -in-residence at Southern Methodist University. As a guest on the McCuistion episode on Human Trafficking, she discussed the economics of human trafficking. In addition to the research she does on both the economics of human trafficking and the economics of human trafficking, she is also the Founder and Executive Director of Equip the Saints (ETS). ETS helps strengthen NPOs by building relationships, connecting individuals, and coordinating sustainable alliances that enable them to address critical social issues.
