Frederick E. “Shad” Rowe is General Partner of Greenbrier Partners, Ltd., a private partnership, which invests in publicly traded securities. Greenbrier Partners has produced above market returns since inception in 1985. Since 1978, Mr. Rowe has served as President of Rowe & Company, Inc.
Before forming Rowe & Co., Mr. Rowe worked as Corporate Syndicate Manager and Vice President with Schneider, Bernet & Hickman, Inc. Investment Bankers and as an Institutional Securities Salesman with Wood, Struthers and Winthrop. He holds a BA in History from Southern Methodist University. Prior to receiving his MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, Mr. Rowe served in active duty as a Junior Officer in the United States Navy.
Mr. Rowe serves as co-founder of the Great Investors’ Best Ideas Foundation, member of the Executive Committee of Texans for Lawsuit Reform, and President of the Investors for Director Accountability Foundation. He is a board member of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and former Chairman of the Texas Pension Review Board, where he served for 12 years.

Mr. Rowe and his wife of 33 years, Michele, live in Dallas. They have four grown children.
