Is the Electoral College out of date? Is it the best “process” for electing a President?
Dennis McCuistion & Jim Falk |
Joining hosts Dennis McCuistion and Jim Falk is Cal Jillson, PhD, Professor of Political Science, Southern Methodist University and the author of American Government.
The conversation focuses on how and why the electoral college was put into place and whether it is still a valid process to use in determining our next president.
The history is ironic. In the constitutional convention of 1777, our founding fathers were concerned about how a President should be elected and whether the common man had the savvy to elect a president.
