Vaccinations: Is there any risk? (2603)

The vaccination issue is a polarized one; with some claiming certain vaccinations are not necessary and in fact cause severe damage to children; some vehemently disagree with this premise and state that it is vaccinations that keep young people healthy.

Since 2019 there has been a record of measles cases in the U.S  and in Europe, with measles in Europe at a 20-year high.

The reason experts give for higher instances of measles are that some children not being vaccinated. They say kids are exposed to germs they do not have the immunity for, from air, water, food and other kids. Vaccinations help prevent what could be serious infections. And the cost of one measles case is $142,000. Texas is one of 17 states that allows for parents opting out on getting their kids vaccinated.

Throughout the U.S there are  groups, which for religious or other reasons that choose not to have their children vaccinated.
