Marijuana, is now legal by prescription in 33 states and recreational use in 11 states, plus the District of Columbia, yet there is still a strong backlash against its recreational use.
According to the Feds, it is a Schedule I drug with a “high potential for abuse.” Joining Host Dennis McCuistion to discuss the controversial topic of marijuana legalization are:

Many Americans have tried marijuana, know someone who has, and are becoming more open to its being legalized, and marijuana is losing some of the stigma associated with it. Yet, in many states its use is still against the law. Our experts believe that by regulating the industry, there would be significant benefits overall making its use safer. In states where marijuana had been legalized, tax benefits have contributed to education and health care.
Marijuana which is actually a weed, is complex to grow, most especially for medical purposes which requires strict rules. And many small growers are especially vulnerable.
