Though the rise in college student debt is often blamed on higher tuition costs, a radical shift in student financial aid–from a system relying primarily on need-based grants to one now dominated by loans–has been a major contributor to the challenge.
Joining McCuistion to talk about the student debt crisis, why the right college is an investment, how a first class education can be affordable, and why a college education matters are:
- David E. Daniel, PhD: President of the University of Texas at Dallas (via video),
- Thomas W. Keefe, J.D.: President of the University of Dallas, and
- Michael J. Sorrell, J.D.: President of Paul Quinn College
