In 1964 seven members of the President’s special committee were appointed to head up the Warren Commission. This blue ribboned panel of politicians and justices were to investigate the JFK assassination, come to a conclusion, and lay the rumors surrounding the assassination to rest.
Joining host Dennis McCuistion are panelists:
- Oliver” Buck” Revell: Former FBI Special Agent
- Tom E. Stone, PhD: Senior Lecturer, Depart of English at Southern Methodist University
Americans were still deeply disturbed by what had happened in Dallas. The investigation’s mandate was to validate their findings and bring this unrest to closure. The Warren Commission’s twenty six volume report concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone… the assassination was not a conspiracy.
Oliver “Buck” Revell, a special agent for the FBI at the time, thought the report to be accurate, considering the perpratrator could not be brought to trial. The concern over the charismatic JFK and conspiracy theories was laid to rest in his mind.
Still as Dr. Stone and “Buck” Revell discuss, there are questions regarding how the “investigation” was handled and the evidence taken back by the Feds who, by law, may not have had the right to do so.
Tune in to form your own conclusions.
